Northwest Food Coalition

Traverse City, MI

Supported by grants and private donations, The Northwest Food Coalition provides fresh, local farm produce to food insecure people using their vast distribution network of food pantries and emergency meal sites.

The Northwest Food Coalition and their partners (Goodwill Food Rescue, Groundwork Center for Resilient Communities, MSU Extension, and Northwest Michigan Community Action Agency) work together to provide healthy food to 70+ local food pantries and emergency meal sites. Due to the work of the Coalition, on an annual basis over 250,000 food insecure people are helped at our pantries and over 216,000 meals are served at our emergency meal sites.
